This week Elise had two Christmas parties. On Wednesday we went to the day care in the afternoon with all the other children (48) and their parents – so it was busy outside when we all walked around the Christmas tree to sing.
Yesterday we had another family Christmas lunch and Elise enjoyed every moment of attention from her relatives, playtime with her second cousins and eating Christmas sweets.

Elise has been making puzzles for a while now – we hit the six piece mark about two weeks ago. Looks like she’s soon ready to be promoted to the League of the Nine Pieces, a big step in toddler world:

This week saw Elise’s first visit to… the hairdresser. Until now, Lene has been her personal stylist, with me providing valuable insights into the latest in fashion and design. Right.
We came prepared: the Mac was loaded with the special Christmas edition of the Teletubbies, and we brought all kinds of food to appease our restless little creature. It worked:
