To let our little water fanatic have some quality time we took her to a nice outside pool area in the woods. She had a really great time and only complained when her parents wanted to leave 🙂
Elise was lucky to taste her fathers Calippo ice cream but she couldn’t really make her mind up about if it was too cold to be good…
Elise is having a great time in the Netherlands and the weather has been just fantastic. First we had a few nice days with Elise’s oma and opa where Elise even got to enjoy the pool in the garden. We always knew that she likes taking a bath – but we found out that water definitely is her element 🙂
Now we are staying in Marije and Robert’s house in Baarn for a week and Abel has been nice to let Elise sleep in his bed. Saturday we went to Sarah and Arie’s wedding in Utrecht. It was a great party and Elise enjoyed looking at all the people.
On Monday Elise went to Store Heddinge for her grandmother’s birthday. We already knew about Elise’s passion for trucks from the one she has at home – but she seems to have quite a greater passion than we thought. First Elise tried out a new truck that is a bit bigger than the one she has at home. In the end we had to hide it far away to get a break from pushing her around…
But when she saw Svend Aage’s garden truck she was truly amazed and actually insisted on sitting on it by herself looking strange at us because we didn’t push her around on it as she is used to 🙂 Lene actually gave it a try in the end, but because of safety it is not possible…
Yesterday we went by car to the Netherlands where we are now enjoying the sun with Elise’s grandparents. On the boat last night Elise had fun on a surfe board.
